Abstract
Dispositif de commutation optique conçu pour mettre en application une architecture de commutation sérielle pour des systèmes de communication optique multiplexés par répartition en longueur d'onde (WDM). Cette conception permet la commutation par insertion/extraction d'un canal de longueur d'onde sélectionné sans commutation d'un canal de longueur d'onde non sélectionné, ce qui évite une perte potentielle de données sur le canal non sélectionné pendant l'intervalle de commutation par insertion/extraction. Ce dispositif peut incorporer des composants à base de fibres optiques et sans fibres optiques. Cette architecture sérielle permet d'intégrer sans difficultés de nouvelles modalités de longueur d'onde et d'ajouter de nouveaux canaux de longueur d'onde.
