Abstract

Un diaphragme de protection hygiénique pour un stéthoscope est formé par un capuchon de latex ou de caoutchouc souple de faible épaisseur, équipé d'un ourlet (28) de préhension à sa périphérie. Le diaphragme (26) présente sensiblement le même diamètre que la tête d'auscultation à protéger. Une cavité (30) annulaire est ménagée entre l'ourlet (28) et la paroi du fond (32) facilitant l'adaptation symétrique du diaphragme (26) sur le rebord périphérique de la tête. L'ensemble étant agencé pour que l'ourlet (28) épouse parfaitement le contour du rebord sans nécessiter une mise sous tension et une déformation élastique par étirement lors de la mise en place dudit diaphragme (26).
