Abstract
The axially driven harvester heads used to hold, cut and manipulate the trees which currently exist on the market use a planetary type gear and are fixed directly to a support installed at the end of a manipulator arm. This type of gear has a complex structure, requiring rigorous maintenance and moreover, the fixing of the harvester head to the end of said manipulator arm is ineffective as it is presently since said harvester head is detached at because of its weight. Thus, the present invention overcomes all these drawbacks by a simpler type of gear and by a robust fixing installed between the felling head and the support located at the end of said manipulator arm.
Description
DESCRIPTION
1 Tête d'abattage à entraînement axial munie d'une fixation DESCRIPTION
1 Axially driven harvester head fitted with a fixing
2 robuste. 2 robust.
3 3
64 celle qui lui est contigüe une à la suite de l'autre;
65 lequel système d'engrenage 9 est encastré à l'intérieur de 66 la tête d' abattage 2 et est lui aussi fixé au moyen de 67 boulons 7 au second disque 5. 4 The present invention consists of a felling head with axial drive provided with a robust fixing preventing 6 the detachment of said head from the support fixed to an arm 7 manipulator.
9 The harvesting heads currently used and in particular those subject to the Canadian patent application 11 number 2242538, are provided with a gear type 12 planetary which is a complex structure requiring a 13 rigorous maintenance and more, no fixing system 14 does not exist preventing said felling head from coming off because of its high weight compared to the support placed 16 at the end of a manipulator arm.
18 The inventor has discovered that these disadvantages can be 19 deleted by simplifying the gear system and having a robust fixing between the harvester head 21 and the support located at the end of a manipulator arm.
23 Relative to the drawings which illustrate the making of 24 invention.
26 Figure 1 shows the fixing system in pieces 27 detached in their mounting position.
29 Figure 2 shows the manipulator arm fitted with the support receiving the robust fixing.
32 Figure 3 shows the harvester head attached to said arm 33 manipulator.
The device includes a manipulator arm (Figure 2) 36 generally hydraulic, which is provided at one end 37 of a support 1 connecting the harvester head 2 (Figure 3) to said 38 arms; said support 1 being a piece of metal, the 39 opposite side to the one attached to the manipulator arm is 40 a flat surface for receiving the harvester head 41 2; between said harvester head 2 and said support 1 is 42 arranged a fixing system (Figure 1) composed of a 43 first metal disc 3 whose center is empty creating 44 thus an arc; one of said flat surfaces of the first 45 disc 3 is fixed by means of bolts 4 to the surface 46 flat backbone of said support 1; the other flat surface of said 47 first disc 3 which is opposite to the first is fixed 48 by means of bolts 6 to a second metal disc 5 of which 49 the center is empty creating an arc attached to it 50 by means of bolts 7 to the felling head 2; for 51 allow the fastening system to follow the movement 52 of rotation of the harvester head 2, a plurality 53 of 8 rolling rings are arranged between the 54 circumference of the second disc 5 and the arc of the first 55 disc 3, between the side surfaces of the first disc 56 3 and second disc 5 and between the other side surface 57 of the second disc 5 and the lateral surface of the head 58 of slaughter Z; said harvester head 2 is provided with a 59 gear system 9 of either planetary type which includes 60 several stages superimposed with a plurality of wheels 61 gear arranged parallel to each other 62 others or a linear type gear system where 63 each of the gear wheels is arranged parallel to 64 the one contiguous to it one after the other;
65 which gear system 9 is embedded inside 66 harvester head 2 and is also fixed by means of 67 bolts 7 to the second disc 5.
