Abstract
This invention consists of a mirror that is attached to the inside surface of a toilet lid enabling an individual to view their buttocks and genital area to facilitate proper hygienic cleaning of these areas after urination or defecation. It also enables short individuals, such as children, to use a minor that would otherwise be placed too high for viewing.
Description
Specification This invention relates to a mirror that is attached to the inside surface of a toilet lid enabling an individual to view their buttocks and genital area to facilitate proper hygienic cleaning of these areas after urination or defecation.
Without a mirror nor the aid of an adult or someone else, a child has no means of determining whether or not their buttocks and genital areas are properly cleaned after wiping themselves with toilet paper. If these aforementioned areas are not adequately cleaned of urine or fecal material, the child will not only soil his or her clothing, but more importantly, these areas will harbor bacterial growth and cause painful skin irritation.
With a minor mounted to the inside of a toilet lid, the child is able to view the aforementioned areas, thus enabling the child to clean themselves more effectively and eliminate the problems of soiled clothing and painful skin irntation.
In drawings which illustrate embodiments of the invention, Figure 1 is a front view of this embodiment mounted onto the inside surface of the toilet lid (the remainder of the toilet fixture to which the lid is attached is not shown), Figure 2 is a side view of this embodiment, and Figure 3 is a rear view of this embodiment.
The minor 1 is mounted to the inside surface of toilet lid 2 by four Velcro~
brand hook and loop fasteners 3. The "hook" portion is mounted to the toilet lid by an adhesive and the "loop" portion is mounted to the rear of the minor by an adhesive.
This invention may be used not only by children but also by any individual who may desire an aid to view particular areas of their bodies and to promote good hygienic practices.
