Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urination assisting instrument which can facilitate positioning in urination especially in the case of urination by men and prevent scattering of urine and drip thereof to prevent a toilet stool and the periphery of the toilet stool from being dirtied and can be conveniently used for a bedridden patient regardless of sex by forming a cup-like receiving part on the upper part of a hose part. SOLUTION: A urination assisting instrument body 1 is formed by a cup-like receiving part 2 and a hose part 3 connected to the lower side of the receiving part 2. The urination assisting instrument body 1 may be integrally formed of a permanent material such as soft vinyl or the like as a whole, and may be formed integrally of a water-soluble material such as water soluble paper. In the case where the whole is formed of a permanent material or the whole is formed of a water soluble material, of course, the receiving part 2 and the hose part 3 may be formed of different materials. In the case of forming the urination assisting body 1 of a water soluble material, the peripheral side surface of the upper part of the receiving part 2 can be formed from a water absorptive material such as water absorptive paper or the like.
