Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé d'alignement de données biométriques, qui sert à déterminer un modèle pour la vérification des utilisateurs d'un système informatique et dans lequel un certain nombre d'instances de données biométriques d'entrée sont acceptées pour chaque utilisateur durant un processus d'alignement. Chaque donnée biométrique d'entrée est choisie pour servir de modèle et d'autres données biométriques sont alignées sur ce modèle. Les alignements sont évalués et des scores sont attribués à chaque modèle. Aussi longtemps qu'un modèle biométrique s'aligne sur d'autres modèles biométriques de façon à leur correspondre et que cet alignement se fait avec un degré de certitude supérieur à un seuil prédéterminé (résultant en un score compris dans une plage prédéterminée), on choisit les données biométriques ayant le score le plus désirable pour déterminer le modèle devant servir à un utilisateur donné.
