Abstract

Un pansement hémostatique comprend du fibrinogène et de la thrombine en poudre adhérant à une matrice fibreuse par un adhésif visqueux non aqueux tel qu'un polysaccharide visqueux, un glycol ou du pétrolatum. L'adhésif non aqueux ne permet pas la réaction hydrolytique entre le fibinogène et la thrombine avant que le pansement ne soit humecté par un fluide du corps, par exemple le sang. Dans ces conditions, le pansement peut être préparé et conservé pendant un longue durée, sans perdre ses qualités hémostatiques.
