Abstract

In order to improve the grip of a toothbrush handle, the toothbrush has a head portion carrying or adapted to carry a bristle configuration and a grip enhancing unitary mat on or as part of the handle. The grip enhancing unitary mat has grip enhancing surfaces arranged continuously around at least two adjacent surfaces of the handle. The grip enhancing unitary mat is substantially elongated along the longitudinal axis of the handle.
