Abstract

Dans un système de téléphonie vidéo, un appelant regardant son écran ne peut simultanément regarder la caméra vidéo placée à côté de l'écran. Pour surmonter ce problème, le signal vidéo produit par la caméra est traité de manière à ce que les yeux de l'appelant paraissent regarder la caméra. Des parties du signal vidéo qui représentent l'oeil ou les yeux de l'appelant sont placées et modifiées de manière à déplacer les pupilles et les iris dans l'image représentée. En outre, ces parties du signal sont modifiées pour appliquer une déflexion spatiale polynomiale à la zone située autour de chaque iris dans l'image représentée, cette déflexion étant telle qu'elle entraîne ladite zone à s'adapter au mouvement de la pupille et de l'iris de l'oeil correspondant.
