Abstract

L'invention porte sur une balle non toxique (25), constituée essentiellement de zinc, dont les surfaces circonférentielles sont lisses sur tout leur pourtour, l'arrière (26) étant de forme cylindrique et l'avant (27) de forme conique intérieurement et vers l'avant. Lorsqu'elle est employée à l'état nu, sans douille, ou bien placée dans une douille de nylon ou encore plaquée de cuivre, elle remplit bien son office en tant que projectile d'entraînement, peu onéreux et non toxique. Utilisée comme noyau auquel on associe une douille en cuivre (59), enfermant le nez (58) et le reste à l'exception de la surface du fond arrière, cette balle non toxique répond aux critères exigés en matière de balle non toxique et ne se désintégrant pas à l'impact. Utilisée comme noyau, son fond arrière étant fixé dans l'extrémité ouverte d'une douille en cuivre en forme de godet, elle remplit bien son office en tant que balle non toxique ne se désintégrant pas. Si le noyau est fabriqué avec des zones fragilisées sur l'arrière, et s'il est monté avec le même type de douille en cuivre en forme de godet, il se comporte comme un balle désintégrante améliorée.
