FONDEMENT DE L'INVENTION:

1) Champ d'application:
La présente invention a trait à la construction de murs intérieurs de bâtiment et, plus particulièrement à des profilés métalliques utilisés comme composants pour le montage de murs de placoplâtre. Ces profilés utilisés pendant le montage des murs, permettent une protection solide et durable des angles saillants, des ouvertures sans encadrement, formant des angles précis, assurant une belle finition et assurent un fini soigné aux bords des planches de gypse autour des portes, des fenêtres et des coins saillants lorsqu'ils doivent être recouverts de composé à joint. ~ ~ ~ 79 ~ 2 . ~

FOUNDATION OF THE INVENTION:

1) Scope:
The present invention relates to the construction of interior walls of building and, more particularly to metal profiles used as components for mounting plasterboard walls. These profiles used during the assembly of the walls, allow a solid and durable protection of salient angles, openings without frame, forming precise angles, ensuring a beautiful finish and ensure a neat finish at the edges of the gypsum boards around the doors, windows and protruding corners when they need to be covered with joint compound.

2) Mémoire descriptif:
Dans l'industrie de la construction1 la plupart des murs intérieurs sont faits de placoplâtre, et sont disponibles sur le marché sous forme de panneaux de gypse pouvant être installés en position verticale ou horizontale.
Ces profilés sont pourvus d'embossages innovateurs permettant d'en diminuer l'épaisseur, d'améliorer leur rigidité et d'en réduire le coût.
J'ai découvert que si l'on fabriquait des profilés possédant des embossages perpendiculaires à son pli à angle droit longitudinal, I'épaisseur de ce profilé pourrait être réduite considérablement, tout en augmentant l'adhérence de sa surface lors de la finition du mur avec un composé à joint. Ces profilés sont classés en quatre catégories: le "coin", le "J", le "L" et le " Combiné". Ils pourront être fabriqués en combinant ou non sur le même coté du profilé, des embossages perpendiculaires au pli à angle droit du profilé et quelques rangs d'embossages parallèles au pli à angle droit et en bordure du profilé.

~ ~ ~7~ ~ 2 Sommaire de l'invention:
Dans le but de montrer le positionnement des profilés faisant l'objet de l'invention, la figure 1 représente un mur intérieur de bâtiment fait d'une ossature en bois 4, mais pouvant être fait de montants métalliques, recouvert de revêtement en panneaux de gypse 1 dans lequel des ouvertures sont faites pour une porte 2 et pour une fenêtre 3. Ce mur possède un angle saillant et une tablette de fenêtre sur lesquels un profilé 5 appelé "Coin" sera utilisé pour assurer une protection contre les coups et de permettre une belle finition. Autour des ouvertures, des profilés 6 appelés " J " ou " Combiné " seront utilisés pour assurer un fini soigné aux bords des panneaux de gypse.
Ils seront recouverts de composé à joint ou de moulures fournies avec le cadre de la porte et de la fenêtre. Pour le haut du mur, un profilé 7 appelé " J " sera utilisé quand il peut être placé sur le rebord du panneau de gypse avant qu'il ne soit mis en place. Dans l'alternative que les panneaux soient déjà en place, des profilés 8 appelés " L " ou " Combiné " seront utilisés de façon à pouvoir être insérés entre le plafond et le bord supérieur des panneaux de gypse. Le profilé " J "
n'est retenu par aucun moyen de fixation, tandis que les profilés " Coin " " L " et " Combiné " ont des trous pour les fixés à l'aide de vis ou de clous pour le placoplâtre.
Tel que montré dans la figure 2, le profilé appelé " Coin " est une équerre ayant des cotés d'égale longueur, possédant des embossages 10 perpendiculaires au pli 9 sur chacun de ces cotés et deux rangées de trous 12 et 13 en quinconce l'une par rapport à
l'autre permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse formant un angle saillant ou une ouverture sans encadrement. Quelques rangées d'embossages 11 parallèles au pli du profilé 9 sont ajoutées en bordure des cotés, de façon à avoir un meilleur appui avec le panneau de gypse.
Tel que montré dans la figure 3, le profilé appelé " J " ayant une forme en U avec un côté plus court 18 se positionnant à l'arrière du panneau, un côté 17 donnant une largeur intérieure égale à
l'épaisseur du panneau de gypse et un côté plus long avec des 2 ~ 97~ ~ 2 embossages 15 perpendiculaires au pli 14.
Tel que montré dans la figure 4, le profilé appelé " L " est une équerre ayant un côté court 24 d' une largeur intérieure égale à
l'épaisseur d'un panneau de gypse et possède un pli arrière fermé 25 en bordure de ce même côté court pour en augmenter la rigidité. Le côté long possède des embossages 20 perpendiculaires au pli 19, une rangée de trous 23 en quinconce l'une par rapport à l'autre et une autre rangée de plus petits trous 22 située en bordure permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse déjà en place. Quelques rangées d'embossages 21 parallèles au pli 19 du profilé sont ajoutées en bordure du coté long, de façon à avoir un meilleur appui avec la surface du panneau de gypse.
Tel que montré dans la figure 51 le profilé appelé " Combiné " ayant une forme en U avec un coté court 32 se positionnant à l'arrière du panneau de gypse, un coté 31 donnant une largeur intérieure égale à
l'épaisseur du panneau et un coté long avec des embossages 27 perpendiculaires au pli 26, une rangée de trous 29 en quinconce l'une par rapport à l'autre et une autre rangée de trous plus petits 30 située en bordure permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse déjà en place. Ce profilé
peut effectuer le même travail que les profilés " J " ou " L " selon l'endroit où il est installé. Quelques rangées d'embossages 28 parallèles au pli 26 du profilé sont ajoutées en bordure du coté long, de façon à avoir un meilleur appui avec la surface du panneau de gypse.
Tel que montré dans la figure 6, le profilé appelé "Coin" est une équerre ayant des cotés d'égale longueur, possédant des embossages 34 perpendiculaires au pli 33 et se prolongeant jusqu'en bordure sur chacun de ces cotés et deux rangées de trous 35 et 36 en quinconce l'une par rapport à l'autre permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse formant un angle saillant ou une ouverture sans encadrement.

2 ~ ~ 7 ~ ~ 2 Tel que montré dans la figure 7, le profilé appelé "J" ayant une forme en U avec un coté plus court 40 se positionnant à l'arrière du panneau, un coté 39 donnant une largeur intérieure égale à
l'épaisseur du panneau de gypse et un coté plus long. Tous ces côtés possèdent des embossages 38 perpendiculaires aux plis à angle droit 37. Ce profilé assure une bonne protection et un fini soigné aux bords des panneaux de gypse situés autour des ouvertures de porte et fenêtre.
Tel que montré dans la figure 8, le profilé appelé "L" est une équerre ayant un côté court 45 d'une largeur intérieure égale à l'épaisseur d'un panneau de gypse et possède un pli arrière fermé 46 en bordure de ce même côté court pour en augmenter la rigidité. Le côté long possède une rangée de trous 44 en quinconce l'une par rapport à
l'autre et une rangée de trous plus petits 43 située en bordure permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse déjà en place.
Tous ces côtés possèdent des embossages 42 perpendiculaires au pli à angle droit 41.
Tel que montré dans la figure 9, le profilé appelé "Combiné" ayant une forme en U avec un côté court 52 se positionnant à l'arrière du panneau de gypse, un côté 51 donnant une largeur intérieure égale à
l'épaisseur du panneau et un côté long possède une rangée de trous 49 en quinconce l'une par rapport à l'autre et une autre rangée de trous plus petits 50 située en bordure permettant l'emploi de moyen de fixation pour maintenir ce profilé et le rebord d'un panneau de gypse déjà en place. Tous ces côtés possèdent des embossages 48 perpendiculaires au pli à angle droit 47. Ce profilé peut effectuer le même travail que les profilés "J" ou "L" selon l'endroit où il est installé.

Tel que montré dans la figure 10, les embossages des côtés de profilés pourront être de différentes formes. Ces embossages auront soit une forme triangulaire 53, ou ronde 54, ou rectangulaire 55. 2) Descriptive memory:

~ ~ ~ 7 ~ ~ 2 Summary of the invention:
In order to show the positioning of the profiles making the object of the invention, Figure 1 shows an interior wall of building made of wooden frame 4, but can be made of metal uprights, covered with gypsum board covering 1 in which openings are made for a door 2 and for a window 3. This wall has a salient angle and a window shelf on which a profile 5 called "Corner" will be used to ensure a impact protection and allow for a nice finish. Around openings, profiles 6 called "J" or "Combined" will be used to provide a neat finish to the edges of the drywall.
They will be covered with joint compound or moldings supplied with the door and window frame. For the top of the wall, a profile 7 called "J" will be used when it can be placed on the edge of the gypsum board before it is put in place. In the alternative that the panels are already in place, profiles 8 called "L" or "Handset" will be used so that it can be inserted between the ceiling and top edge of gypsum board. The "J" profile is not retained by any fixing means, while the profiles "Corner""L" and "Combined" have holes for fixing them with screws or nails for plasterboard.
As shown in figure 2, the profile called "Corner" is a square with sides of equal length, having embossings 10 perpendicular to the fold 9 on each of these sides and two rows of holes 12 and 13 staggered one with respect to the other allowing the use of fixing means to maintain this profile and the edge of a gypsum board forming a projecting angle or an opening without framing. A few rows of embossing 11 parallel to the fold of the profile 9 are added along the sides, so as to have better support with the gypsum board.
As shown in Figure 3, the profile called "J" having a U shape with a shorter side 18 positioned at the back of the panel, one side 17 giving an interior width equal to the thickness of the gypsum board and a longer side with 2 ~ 97 ~ ~ 2 embossings 15 perpendicular to the fold 14.
As shown in Figure 4, the profile called "L" is a square having a short side 24 with an internal width equal to the thickness of a gypsum board and has a closed back fold 25 along this same short side to increase its rigidity. The long side has embossings 20 perpendicular to the fold 19, a row of holes 23 staggered with respect to each other and a another row of smaller holes 22 located at the edge allowing the use of fixing means to maintain this profile and the edge of a gypsum board already in place. A few rows embossments 21 parallel to the fold 19 of the profile are added in edge of the long side, so as to have better support with the gypsum board surface.
As shown in figure 51 the profile called "Combined" having a U shape with a short side 32 positioned at the rear of the gypsum board, one side 31 giving an interior width equal to the thickness of the panel and a long side with embossing 27 perpendicular to the fold 26, a row of holes 29 staggered one relative to each other and another row of smaller holes 30 located at the edge allowing the use of fixing means to maintain this profile and the edge of a gypsum board already in place. This profile can perform the same work as the "J" or "L" profiles depending on where it is installed. A few rows of embossing 28 parallel to the fold 26 of the profile are added at the edge of the long side, so as to have better support with the surface of the panel gypsum.
As shown in Figure 6, the profile called "Corner" is a square with sides of equal length, having embossings 34 perpendicular to fold 33 and extending to border on each of these sides and two rows of holes 35 and 36 in staggered relative to each other allowing the use of means of fixing to maintain this profile and the edge of a gypsum board forming a salient angle or an opening without framing.

2 ~ ~ 7 ~ ~ 2 As shown in Figure 7, the profile called "J" having a shape U-shaped with a shorter side 40 positioned at the rear of the panel, one side 39 giving an interior width equal to the thickness of the gypsum board and a longer side. All these sides have embossings 38 perpendicular to the folds at right angles 37. This profile provides good protection and a neat finish at the edges gypsum board located around the door openings and window.
As shown in figure 8, the profile called "L" is a square having a short side 45 with an internal width equal to the thickness of a gypsum board and has a closed back fold 46 bordering this same short side to increase its rigidity. As shown in Figure 9, the profile called "Combined" having a U shape with a short side 52 positioned at the rear of the gypsum board, one side 51 giving an interior width equal to panel thickness and one long side has a row of holes 49 staggered relative to each other and another row of smaller holes 50 located at the edge allowing the use of medium of fixing to maintain this profile and the edge of a panel gypsum already in place. All these sides have 48 embossings perpendicular to the fold at right angles 47. This profile can carry out the same work as profiles "J" or "L" depending on where it is installed.

As shown in Figure 10, the embossing on the sides of profiles can be of different shapes. These embossings will have either a triangular 53, or round 54, or rectangular 55 shape.

Claims

1: A profile called "Corner" made of metal used as fixing and finishing component of a wall, said profile forming a square having two sides of equal length, said sides each having embossings perpendicular to the angled fold right, said embossing starting at this right angle fold and this extending perpendicularly to a few rows embossing parallel to the fold at right angles and located at the edge on said sides, said sides each having two rows of holes staggered relative to each other.

2: A profile called "J" made of metal used as a component of fixing and finishing a wall, said profile having a U-shape with a short side, said short side being joined by a fold at right angles to a smooth side whose width is proportional to the thickness of the panel of wall on which it will be installed, said smooth side being joined by a another fold at right angles to a long side with embossing perpendicular to the fold at right angles, said embossing commencing at the right angle fold of said long side and this extension perpendicularly up to a few rows of embossing parallel to the fold at right angles and located on the edge of said long side.

8: An alternative profile called "Combined" made of used metal as a fixing and finishing component of a wall, said profile having a U-shape with a short side, said short side being joined by a fold at right angles to a central side whose width is proportional to the thickness of the wall panel on which it will be installed, said central side being joined by another fold at right angles to a long side, said long side comprising a row of holes in staggered relative to each other and a row of smaller holes located at the edge and said long and short and central sides having embossings perpendicular to the fold at right angles, said embossments extending perpendicularly to the border of said short and long sides.

9: The profiles as defined in claims 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 with one or more sides having embossings whose shape is either triangular, round, rectangular or square.
