Acier inoxydable ferritique utilisable pour la production de laine d'acier caractérisé en ce que sa composition pondérale est la suivante: - carbone ~ 0,2%, - silicium ~ 2%; - manganèse ~ 2%, - 11% ~ chrome ~ 30%, - nickel ~ 1%, - soufre ~ 0,030%, - calcium ~ 15 10-4 %, - oxygène ~40 10-4%, la teneur en calcium et oxygène satisfaisant la relation suivante: 0,2 ~ Ca/O ~ 0,7.
