Abstract

Acide polycarboxylique polyhydroxy réticulé insoluble dans l'eau, comprenant au moins deux brins dont le squelette est représenté par la formule (III) dans laquelle un groupe carbonyle d'au moins une fraction maléoyle de ce dernier dans chaque brin est liée par covalence à la fraction -HN.[(H)¿p?(CH)¿z?.(OH)¿m?].NH- pour assurer la présence d'au moins une fraction réticulante de formule (V), dans laquelle R représente hydrogène ou alkylène inférieur ou alcoxy inférieur contenant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, ou phényle, z représente un entier compris entre 1 et 4, p vaut 0 ou un entier pouvant aller jusqu'à z-1, m vaut 1 ou un entier inférieur ou égal à z, le rapport entre les réticulations et les brins de poly (acide carbonique alkylène) se situant entre environ 1 et environ 200 pour deux. On décrit un procédé de production de cet acide polycarboxylique polyhydroxy ainsi que des procédés d'utilisation de ce dernier pour éliminer des protéines d'un milieu aqueux afin de produire une matrice, des procédés de récupération des protéines de cette matrice sans les dénaturer et des procédés de récupération de l'acide polycarboxylique polyhydroxy présent dans ladite matrice.
