Abstract

Un objet (18) est mis en images à partir d'une pluralité de points espacés (16) dont les positions relatives sont connues, afin de produire une pluralité de séquences d'images de l'objet prises de différents points de vue (17). Lesdites images peuvent être visualisées par l'utilisateur, ou bien manipulées par un processeur (22) sous la conduite (24) de l'utilisateur sur la base des informations concernant les positions relatives connues, dans le but de former une image individuelle ou une séquence d'images de l'objet pouvant être visualisées, donnant l'impression d'avoir été prises d'un point de vue (33) sélectionné par un utilisateur et différent de tout autre point de vue. Les images ainsi obtenues peuvent en outre être traitées sous le contrôle de l'utilisateur afin de faciliter le zoom avant et le zoom arrière sur l'objet mis en image, ainsi que l'élimination de parties indésirables de l'image.
