Abstract

Un matériau accepteur (10) destiné à l'impression à l'aide d'imprimantes à jet d'encre permet la formation d'images et d'informations à base d'encre stable à la lumière, résistante, soluble dans l'eau, et séchant rapidement, et appliquée sous forme de jets d'encre aqueux. Le matériau (10) comprend un support (12) tel qu'un film polyester et une couche déposée (14) contenant un mordant soluble dans l'eau qui forme des composés insolubles avec les colorants des encres et qui immobilise ceux-ci, et un polymère durci absorbant l'eau, de préférence la gélatine durcie, qui contient des billes polymères dans une couche supérieure. Les mordants solubles dans l'eau peuvent être un ammonium quaternaire de masse moléculaire élevée, des composés amino, des phospholipides ou des ions métalliques divalents du groupe II.
