Abstract

Un système et un procédé de sondage comprennent l'utilisation d'une aiguille (22), d'un raccord en "Y" (28), d'une seringue (46), d'un dilatateur (70), d'une gaine (80), d'un fourreau protecteur (92) et d'une gaine d'urgence (100). Ce système représente une approche complète, généralisée et universelle au sondage. Des procédés de traitement localisé au moyen de cette invention sont décrits. On a tout particulièrement pris en considération les problèmes courants impliqués dans les procédés de sondage, ainsi que la prévention de la transmission de maladies contagieuses entre médecin et patient (le risque de transmission du virus VIH, notamment, est sensiblement réduit grâce à ce système). L'invention permet également de réduire considérablement le coût des soins de santé tout en améliorant l'efficacité du diagnostic et du traitement. Elle permet au médecin de diagnostiquer et de traiter simultanément des maladies en utilisant le même procédé, indépendamment de l'endroit où la maladie s'est déclarée, dans ou sur le corps. La durée de l'hospitalisation ainsi que le nombre d'hospitalisations requises sont réduits au minimum, et la qualité de vie du patient est améliorée tandis que sa durée de vie est prolongée.
