Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement de l'eau dans lequel la production d'ozone et le traitement de l'eau peuvent avoir lieu simultanément. L'ozone est produit à partir d'une alimentation en continu d'air et/ou d'oxygène (34) à la surface de l'eau courante (12), au moyen d'une électrode à haute tension placée dans l'air ou dans l'oxygène à une certaine distance au-dessus de la surface de l'eau. Le champ électrique important entre l'électrode à haute tension (20) et la surface du courant d'eau mis électriquement à la terre produit une multitude de petits cônes Taylor à la surface de l'eau. Chaque cône Taylor produit un effet corona et produit de l'ozone dans le processus. Pendant que l'ozone est produit à la surface de l'eau, une quantité substantielle d'ozone est immédiatement dissoute dans l'eau et l'ozone qui diffuse dans l'air continue à être en contact avec la surface de l'eau. L'ozone non dissous peut être infiltré à travers la même eau pour une ozonation primaire ou secondaire supplémentaire.
