Abstract
Ce procédé, qui sert à la récupération de déchets de polymères acryliques réticulés, consiste à broyer un polymère acrylique ou méthacrylate en majeure partie réticulé ou complètement réticulé, en y ajoutant éventuellement un mélange de polymères thermoplastiques non réticulés. Ce processus de broyage a lieu dans une extrudeuse à vis, dans laquelle des forces élevées de cisaillement sont appliquées aux polymères. Ces produits peuvent être traités avec une teneur résiduelle en monomère inférieure à 0,5 % en poids et sans émission de ce monomère. Ces produits peuvent être transformés sous forme de granulés ou extrudés sous la forme d'une feuille thermoformable ayant un fini mat lisse et une résistance améliorée aux chocs.
