Abstract

Le dispositif s'applique à des câbles conducteurs avec écran métallique de protection de faible épaisseur, intercalé entre le ou les conducteurs du câble et une gaine extérieure isolante. Ce dispositif, assurant par exemple la mise à la terre de l'écran (7) comprend un connecteur (1) à corps rigide (2) apte à prendre appui avec la périphérie du câble (6), et un élément conducteur filiforme flexible (3), prévu pour enlacer le câble (6) en étant positionné dans une saignée transversale (21), creusée progressivement par effet mécanique et/ou thermique, à l'aide d'une corde ou autre organe souple filiforme, dans la gaine extérieure isolante (16) sur au mois une fraction de sa circonférence et atteignant l'écran (7). Des moyens (10, 14, 20) sont prévus sur le connecteur (1) pour immobiliser, et mettre en tension mécaniquement de façon contrôlée, la partie de l'élément conducteur flexible (3) enlaçant le câble (6). Application particulière: câbles de télécommunication.
