Description

~142202 METHOD OF MANU~ACTUI~ING BUILDING BOARDS OR ARTICLES
OF VEGETAI~LE ~ATERIAI,S AND PRODUCTION LINE FOR
REALIZATION OF THIS METHOD
., FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Tlle present invelltioll relates to construction, namely, to a method of manufacturillg building boards or articles of vegetable materials and a production line for realization of this method.
The hlventioll will filld broad application in making of a furniture in the woodworking industry.

DESCRIPTION OFTHE PRIORART

The teclmology of wood-particle board manufacture is known (N. G.
Romanov, Production Process of Wood Plastics and Boards, 1965, publishing office Lesnaya Promyslllemlost, Moscow, p. ~47-449), tllis techllology includlesrnilling of wood, drying a ground material, preparation of a binding agent and 15 application it on surfaces of wood particles as well moulding.
A wood is milled witll llammer breaker, cam crusher and so Oll, thereafter the gro-md material is dried in pneulllatic, drum, colltinuous-belt or other driers.
A binding agellt is prepared hl tlle form of urea formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde and other resins. Continuous or batcll-operated n~ixers, for example, drum and 20 paddle mixer, are used for n~ixing of chips and binding resins together. Mixedwith the binder wood partlcles are moulded with continuous caterpillar presses or batch-operated hydraulic multiopening presses.
The said metllod of mallufacturillg wood-particle boards has the following I
drawback. Applied bindillg resins pollute an enviromllent witll toxic gases both25 during moulding and during use of tlle articles.
An extrusion metllod of mallufacturillg wood-particle boards (SU, A, ! I
10216310) is well hlown. Tl~is method consists in feeding resin coated wood particles into a press receiving bin. Tllen particles are fed into a moulding channel formed by heating plates and void-formers. Moulded wood-particle board removes 30 a press challllel as a conthluous band under the influence of punch pressure and I I
heat of heatillg plates and external surfaces of void-formers. ¦ ` ~
However, use of resins causes pollution of an envirollment witll toxic formaldellyde both during mouldillg and during use of finislled articles. A method of manufacturillg building boards or articles of vegetable materials without addition 35 of binding agents (~. N. Minill, Production of Articles and Materials of Ground .. ~ .. ~... .. . .

~` 2142202 Wood by Moulding, 1960, BSSR Goverlunelltal Publishing Office, Minsk, p. 123 -127) is hlown. Tlle method COIlSiStS ill llumidification of a source material and trallsmission of awaste into cllipphlg macllines for milling. Ground waste is sized, hereupon coarse portiolls are fed for repeated milling and the remaining 5 wood pulp is reseived hlto a bin. The mass is fed automatically from a bin into driers(pneumogas, drum and otller driers) witll a dosing feeder. Dry material isreceived illtO other bin, from WhiCIl it iS uniformly loaded with a dosing feeder into chaill pulsatiDg conveyer placed dies al~d tlle material is fed to a single daylight l~ydraulic press for preheatillg to thermal fluidity. After moulding material preheating 10 in high-frequellcy field the dies witll compacted material are fed with the same conveyer onto a chargillg device of a hydraulic multiopening press. Cooling, opening press plates and unloadillg of the dies with finished articles are carried out afler moulding. However, tl~is process is laborious and expensive due to large energy consumption. Stage by-stage operations and moulding with a multiopening 15 press cause low process productivity.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
, An object of the invention is a method of manufacturing building boards or other articles of vegetable materials as well as a production line of this method ensuaring ecological cleanlilless of building boards or other articles with improved 20 physical-mechanical characteristics together with higll manufacturing productivity due to coincidence of operations and usage of an extrusion moulding without application of bindhlg resins and because of rational design in ordel to make this operations.
An object of the invelltioll is tlle method of manufacturing building boards 25 ol othel articles of vegetable materials including: milling, drying, conveying of ground mass, preheating of the ground mass in a~close space to thermal plasticity and moulding followed by cooling of tlle article, according to the invention drying is carried out during ground mass preheatillg to thermal plasticity, said preheating being executed during conveyillg and moulding is performed with an extrusion 30 press.
Simultaneous ground mass dryh~g and preheating to thermal plasticity during conveying ensures sllort-term preparation of a moulding material, namely, bdr~ging it to maximum fluidity witll formation of resills.
lt reduces tlle term of fultller moulding and ensures application of contirluous35 extrusion moulding witllout use of pllenol-formaldellyde and other reshls because manufacturing productivity of ecologically clean building boards or other articles with improved pllysical-mecl~allical charactoristics is increased.
