Description
The present invention provides a new type of housing command, the functionality of which is due to the introduction of a memory card inside a slot, present at the bo; tier.
Many documents propose such boxes, including the range of possibilities is proportional to the number of cards memory that can cooperate in each of these boxes.
the document FR-A-2.604.275 relates to a setting device work of an operating, processing and transfer process information between a data center and a micro-handheld computer, associated or not, with a memory card.
The use of the pictogram technique makes its use particularly simple and makes it accessible to the general public. The technique of pictograms is to draw symbols on the keyboard keys, the latter being an integral part of the pocket microcomputer, can also be removable. In the most elaborate version, all the keyboard functions, processing, display and transfer is integrated in a card memory, equipped with a pictogram keyboard and an ultra-liquid crystal dish. The pocket microcomputer is then, in fact, constituted by the memory card itself.
In this document, the association with a memory card it's not mandatory. The gist of this invention is the use of pictograms, including the simplicity of operation expands the number of potential users.
The document FR-2,674,649 relates to a device for placing implementing a method for remote control ~ er several apparatus ~ ls electrical and equipment. The method comprises at least one transaction between at least one data carrier, in particular a plug-in support, comprising several microcircuits, and a support for selective signal processing and transmission electromagnetic control to said devices, provided to receive said data carrier.
Here, the introduction of a data carrier such as a card with memory, allows to adapt the device to the use that one wants to do it and the devices it needs to remote control.
Document F ~ -A-2. 696.888 describes and claims a system communicating box, including a memory card reader, a touch screen and means of communication, according to all types ~ 14 ~ 4 ~ 7 . .
of known supports. The housing is not dedicated to the start ~ none applicat ~ on, and it is a memory card, once inserted in the reader pr ~ seen for this purpose, which will determine its functionality, will give the touch screen a suitable display S for defined use, and will also define the nature of the signals analog and / or digital, capable of giving and receiving ad hoc instructions, via the chosen transmission medium.
Like the previous device, this communication is activated by the presence of a memory card.
Depending on the nature of the card introduced, the case, the face of which upper is formed by a screen, will take a configuration to enable certain functions. In fact, the screen is going to be transformed into an explicit touch screen allowing a easy use by a large audience.
The principle of the present invention is similar to the document FR-A-2,696,888. However, it appeared to the inventor that the use, in a control panel, of a screen keyboard was quite heavy both physically and economically speaking.
The invention therefore consists in eliminating the screen keyboard and in replace it with a keyboard without any information, but transparent, which cooperates with a memory card, carrying information related to the function assigned to the box by the introduction of the memory card.
To this end, the present invention relates to a housing control formed by a tactile keyboard, means of communication and means for operating the assembly, the housing being able to receive, in a slot provided for this purpose, a memory card which makes said housing functional, characterized in that the keyboard is composed of a certain number of tactile keys which are made of a transparent material, leaving the card visible underlying memory that was introduced, that said card to memory has, on its back, located in contact with the keyboard, a set of individualized information, each information corresponding to one of the tactile keys on the keyboard, and that each information, carried by the memory card and visible in transparency at the level of each key of the keyboard, is representative of the function assigned to each key corresponding by said memory card, which makes the case ~ 14 ~ q97 functional in different areas.
The keyboard partially circumscribes the housing of the housing who receives the card.
According to one embodiment, the housing consists of means of communication with the user of the box formed, among other things, by a display screen for data from the memory card via the operating means of said housing.
According to another embodiment, the housing is constituted by means of communication with electrical devices, trained among other things by an identification scanner with the device with which dialogue via a corm ~ nde interface is established, and by means of transmission and / or reception of signals from memory card and / or devices electric.
15The information carried by the memory card is formed directional symbols and / or ideograms.
The case has an insertion slot and / or a button which facilitate entry and exit from the card memory of the housing of said housing.
20The memory card contains information and at least one chip on both sides (front and back), so that the functionality of the box with the same card is at least double.
The attached drawings are given as examples indicative and not limiting. They represent different modes preferred embodiments according to the invention. They will allow easily understand the invention.
Figure 1 shows a top view of a housing control and a memory card, according to the invention, before the introduction of the card into the housing of the housing.
30 Figure 2 shows a top view of a housing control and a memory card, according to the invention, after the introduction of the card into the housing of the housing.
FIG. 3 represents a sectional view along AA of the Figure 1, that is to say a cross-sectional view of the housing.
35 Figure 4 shows a sectional view along BB of the Figure 2, i.e. a cross-sectional view of the housing containing the memory card.
Figure 5 shows a perspective view of a housing control, according to the invention, which is functional, that is to say that the memory card is inserted.
Figure 6 shows a top view of the back of a card with memory.
Figure 7 shows a top view of the back of another memory card, or on the front of the same card as the one presented in Figure 6.
FIG. 8 represents the different functional blocks of the housing according to the invention, that is to say the different functions controlled by the microprocessor of said housing.
FIG. 9 represents the schematic architecture and enclosure electronics.
The present invention essentially relates to a housing command 1 whose keyboard is of a new type.
In fact, the keyboard looks normal but is trained of two elements originating on the one hand, from the housing 1, on the other hand, of the memory card 3 which is engaged inside a housing 15 provided at said housing 1.
In fact, the housing 1 is constituted on its upper face a touch keyboard 2, proper, having a property essential which is to be transparent. This keyboard 2 therefore includes a number of touch keys 13 which have no function when the card 3 is not placed inside the lS accommodation.
The memory card 3, for its part, includes a certain information numbers 14 placed on its back. These informations can be made up of directional symbols, as see well in Figure 6 or ideograms, as we see also in figure 6, but also numbers or letters as shown in Figure 7.
Once the memory card 3 is inserted in the housing 15 of the housing 1, the information 14 sub-~ acentes superimpose on the touch keys 13 of the keyboard 2.
The memory card 3, via its chip 18, goes configure the box 1 via a connector 4 on the card 3 and a interface 5 of the card 3 directly connected to a microprocessor 9, com ~ e can be seen in Figure 9.
This setting will allow you to call for each key touch 13, a function that will be related to information 14 underlying items carried by the memory card 3.
~ 14 1,497 Therefore, the control unit 1 which is formed by the keyboard touch 2, means of communication 6, 7 and 8, means of operation 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12, of the assembly, can receive in the slot 15, provided for this purpose, the card ~ memolre 3 which makes said housing 1 functional. The housing 1 is characterized by the keyboard 2 which is composed of a certain number of keys tactile 13, the number of which is not limiting, of a material transparent leaving visible the memory card 3 sub ~ acente which will be or has been introduced, as can be seen in Figures 1 and 2.
In addition, said memory card 3 comprises on its back, that is to say the face located in contact with the keyboard 2, a set individualized information 14, each information 14 corresponding to one of the touch keys 13 on the keyboard 2.
The consequence is that each piece of information 14, carried by the memory card 3, is visible in transparency at each key 13 on keyboard 2 and is representative of the function assigned to each corresponding key 13 carried by said memory card 3.
It is therefore possible to use the housing 1 in different domains whose range is limited only by the number of cards 3 available on the market.
Basically, there should be nothing may disturb the readability of the card 3 between said keyboard
Therefore, the keyboard 2 partially circumscribes the slot 15 of the box; tier 1 which receives the card 2.
According to one embodiment, presented in FIGS. 1 and 2, the box 1 is constituted by communication means 4, 5 and 8 with the user of the box 1 formed inter alia by a screen 8 for displaying data from the memory card via the operating means 9, 10, 11 and 12 of said box 1.
Communication means 4, 5 and 8 and operating 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be seen more precisely in the rest of the description.
According to another embodiment, which is only partially shown in the figures, the case 1 is consisting of means of communication with devices electric, formed, among other things, by an identification scanner ~ 1 ~ 1497 . . , with the device with which the dialogue, via a command 16, is established and by transmission means 6 and / or reception 7 of signals from the memory card 3 and / or electrical appliances. Electrical devices can be consisting, for example, of electric radios, electrical communication with station search, networks digital telephones, barcode readers.
However, these two embodiments can be understood in the same housing 1, as shown in the figure 5, i.e. there is both the keyboard 8 and the possibility send and receive, as shown by the two arrows located at screen 8.
According to an embodiment which is not represented on the Figures, the housing 1 has a slot or notch allowing the introduction but also the manual exit of the card memory 3.
Likewise, and as shown in the Figures 1, 2 and 5, the housing 1 has an eject button 17 allowing said memory card 3 to be ejected automatically relative to the housing 15 of said housing 1.
As can be seen in Figures 6 and 7, the map to memory 3 can include information 14 and a chip 18 on both sides (front and back) so that the functionality of the box 1 with the same card 3 is double. To do this, it will suffice to rotate the map 180 by its axis longitudinal.
As can be seen in Figure 8, the entire housing 1 is controlled by a microprocessor 9, the various of which functions are set due to the introduction of the card
The microprocessor 9 will be able to operate the interface 16, screen 8, touch keyboard 2, clock 19, a frequency multiplier generator from two tones said generator DTMF 20, a vibrator called buzzer 21, whose functions are already well known to electronics engineers.
In FIG. 9, the electronic environment of the microprocessor 9 is specified. Note the presence of the connector
