Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a payment system for a good through an electronic wallet module. Currently, the electronic wallet modules are mainly integrated in bank cards and allow a user to pay a good by electronic money transfer of this electronic wallet module to a secure access module of the seller of the property. Moreover, for some time now, there have been various attempts at integration into communicating objects such as, for example, telephones, means of payment for goods. These means then incorporate local communication technology means also known as NFC to exchange information with the environment. However, recent studies show that these means of payment are marking time and seem to be a dead end because of the need for an extremely complex and expensive infrastructure to implement. The object of the invention is therefore to solve these problems. For this purpose the invention relates to a payment system of a good through an electronic wallet module, characterized in that the electronic wallet module is housed in a treatment unit. information connected to an information transmission network and accessible to a buyer of the property through this information transmission network and a communicating object made available to the buyer to enable him to enter the wallet module electronic, payment information of the property and identification of a seller of the good, and trigger an electronic money transfer of the buyer's electronic wallet module to a secure access module of the seller of the property, also hosted in an information processing unit connected to the information transmission network. According to other aspects of the invention, the payment system for a good comprises one or more of the following characteristics: the information transmission network is the Internet network; the communicating object is adapted to access; to the information transmission network via wireless communication means, - the electronic purse module is associated with a buyer's personal computer information processing unit, - the electronic purse module is housed in an information processing unit forming an electronic purse module server, - the electronic purse module is integrated in a separate medium of the information processing unit and releasably connectable thereto. ci, - the secure access module is housed in a personal computer information processing unit vendor, - the secure access module is housed in a unit of e processing information forming secure access module server, - it comprises means of generation and transmission to the buyer and / or seller of electronic money transfer validation information, and - the electronic wallet module is accessible through the information transmission network from several communicating objects associated with this module. The invention will be better understood with the aid of the following description given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 illustrate the structure and the operation of a payment system according to the invention, and - Figure 6 illustrates an alternative embodiment of this system.
Indeed, FIGS. 1 to 5 show a payment system for a good through an electronic wallet module. In fact, in the exemplary embodiment illustrated, the electronic wallet module is integrated in a support, such as for example a USB key, designated by the general reference 1 in these figures, adapted to be plugged into a corresponding socket an information processing unit designated by the general reference 2, this information processing unit being connected to an information transmission network designated by the general reference 3.
In fact, this information processing unit may be constituted by a personal computer for example of a buyer of the good or by an information processing unit forming an electronic purse module server.
The information transmission network may then be the Internet network so as to make the information processing unit 2 accessible to a buyer of the property through this information transmission network 3 and a communicating object made available to it. . This communicating object is designated by the general reference 4 in this figure and is constituted for example by a telephone, a personal assistant or other. In fact, this communicating object is then adapted to access the information transmission network 3 through wireless communication means, for example in a conventional manner. This communicating object made available to the buyer of the property then allows him to enter the electronic wallet module 1 payment information of the property and identification of a seller of the property and trigger remotely an electronic money transfer from this buyer's electronic purse module to a secure access module of the seller of the good, also housed in an information processing unit connected to the information transmission network, this unit the vendor information processing being, for example, designated by the general reference 5 in these figures. This secure access module can then also be housed in a seller's personal computer information processing unit or in a secure access module server information processing unit.
Likewise, this information processing unit may comprise means for generating and transmitting to the buyer and / or the seller of electronic money transfer validation information. This information is then transmitted for example to the communicating object 4 made available to the buyer and / or cash register means for example, designated by the general reference 6 in this figure and allowing the seller to print information relating to the transaction.
It is conceivable that with such a structure, an electronic wallet module can be made available on a network and becomes accessible from anywhere and anytime by any authorized person having an appropriate communicating object.
The electronic purse can then be controlled remotely through this communicating object and the network to ensure the transfer of electronic money and therefore the payment of the good that the user wants to buy. It goes without saying of course that this communicating object can be in different forms.
It is then conceivable, as is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, that when a buyer wishes to purchase a good, he uses his communicating object 4 to access the corresponding electronic wallet module and enter it. payment information of the good and identification of the seller of this good as is illustrated by Figures 2 and 3 respectively, this information being designated by the general reference 7 and the entry thereof in the wallet module This is then used to trigger the transfer of electronic money from the electronic purse module 1 of the buyer to the secure access module 5 of the seller, as illustrated by FIG. arrow 9 in Figure 4. These transfer operations are looped in a conventional manner. Once the transfer of money has been made, validation information may be transmitted to the communicating object 4 of the buyer and / or the means 6 made available to the seller, as illustrated by the arrow designated by the reference general 10 in Figure 5 to allow printing for example a receipt or other. It goes without saying, of course, that multiple information processing units associated with different sellers of goods, such as the units 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d shown in FIG. 6, can be envisaged.
Similarly, the electronic wallet module designated by the general reference 1 in this figure 6, can be associated with several communicating objects such as communicating objects 4a, 4b and 4c illustrated in this figure 6.
For example, different members of a family may be provided with such a communicating object, these objects then being associated with a single electronic wallet module.
