Abstract

- Le procédé consiste essentiellement à placer un échantillon solide imbibé avec un premier fluide (de l'eau par exemple) dans une enceinte close, d'injecter par des moyens de pression un autre fluide sous pression à une première extrémité de l'enceinte et de balayer l'extrémité opposée par un fluide à basse pression mis en circulation par des moyens de pompage, qui entraîne au dehors le fluide draîné. Le dispositif comporte des moyens de mesure permettant de connaître la pression et la saturation de l'échantillon en au moins un point de sa longueur, la quantité de fluide évacué et la résistivité électrique de l'échantillon. Par une variation progressive des débits injectés, on peut réaliser sans toucher à l'échantillon, des cycles complets de draînages et d'imbibitions avec établissement de courbes de variation de la pression capillaire, et calcul des perméabilités relatives.
- Application notamment à la pétrophysique des roches ou au test de matériaux de construction dans le bâtiment.
