Abstract

Procédé d'injection automatisée de gaz dans une installation de coulée comportant un grand nombre de lignotières équipées chacune d'une rehausse. ce procédé est caractérisé par l'utilisation de fentes d'introduction de gaz de dimensions particulières, d'un circuit de gaz comportant des réservoirs, des débitmètres, des régulateurs de débit et de pression, des vannes disposées de façon à pouvoir maintenir une pression convenable de gaz sur les lingotières, à détecter toute défaillance sur une lignotière quelconque et à vérifier après coulée l'état des fentes. L'invention trouve son application notamment dans les installations de coulée où, pour réduire, l'espace occupé sur le sol, on rapproche les lingotières les unes des autres.
