2096941 9306339 PCTABS00162 Dispositif de traitement et d'interprétation de données de forage (28) destiné à être monté à l'extrémité inférieure d'un train de tiges (14) disposé dans un puits de forage, le train de tiges (14) étant muni d'un outil de forage (16), d'un ensemble de mesure (36) et de moyens (30) de transmission des données du fond vers la surface. Selon l'invention, le dispositif est adapté pour envoyer à la surface uniquement des messages abrégés après interprétation des mesures prises par l'ensemble de mesure (36). Un procédé permettant la mise en oeuvre de ce dispositif est également décrit.
