Par expérience, nous avons constaté qu'il est difficile pour un enfant âgé de 6 à 8 mois, qui tient son biberon seul, de le garder toujours à la main. En poussette, en voiture, dans la chaise haute, et partout où l'enfant traîne son biberon, on le ramasse très souvent par terre ou on le perd. Le biberon se salit, il est plein de microbes. Pour une meilleure hygiène, nous avons donc pensé ajouter des anses de chaque coté du biberon auxquelles se rattacheront des cordons ou des courroies qui le maintiendrait autour du cou de l'enfant. Ces anses devraient être moulées à même le biberon pour plus de solidité. Nous privilégions l'attache velcro pour raccorder les courroies ou cordons aux anses pour que ce soit assez solide pour soutenir le poids d'un biberon plein tout en se défaisant facilement sous le poids d'un enfant en bas âge afin d'éviter l'étoufffement. Nous privilégions aussi le biberon de plastique parce qu'il est plus léger et qu'il est incassable.
