Abstract
Description

The present invention relates to the field of sachets intended to contain a unit dose of one liquid, pasty or powdery product.
And the invention relates more specifically to such sachets obtained from a unit cut, preferably elongated and with two large parallel edges, the cutout being folded back on itself to define two generally quadrangular sides of the bag, the two faces being joined edge to edge by three sides and joining on a fourth side by a bottom formed of the middle part of the shaped cutout three-dimensional.
We know in particular by the European patent 0162119 a device for shaping this cutting, especially for three-dimensional shaping sional of the bottom, of ~ açon that the fold of the two faces one against the other, from the bottom set form, define a volume capacity constituting the sachet intended to receive the unit dose of product.
In the embodiment described at the end of the aforementioned European patent, the background is shaped by automatic means, so as to cause a spreading ment of the two faces, by conforming this bottom according to a arched transverse wall, the two lateral edges separating the bottom of the corresponding face according to a

arc of a circle, and the two edges in an arc joining on the sides of the bag.
This achievement likely to be implemented form by mechanical means however does not allow to obtain a sachet suitable for being positioned so self-stable by resting on its bottom, since the latter is curved, hollow.
The invention, according to a first object, makes it possible to make a sachet of the type concerned, by putting work of mechanical means, the bag being self-stable and resting on its bottom in the fa ~ on of a bottle.
Another object of the invention and to allow the production of sachets of the specified type with a mechanical strength and satisfactory homogeneity allow both in particular to resist pressure and solicited mechanical tions.
Another object of the invention is to allow making a sachet with characteristics sealing ticks with high reliability.
Finally the invention allows according to another object to make bags with a configuration new and improved aesthetic features pleasing to the eye and easy to handle, adding to convenience of use resulting from positioning self-stable sachet in vertical position resting by its bottom on a bearing surface.
To this end, the invention relates first of all place a sachet of the type obtained from a cut flat single longiform and with two long parallel edges lèles, this cutout being folded back on itself to define the two sides of the sachet meeting with a transverse bottom formed by the middle part of the cutting, the two sides of the bag being joined edge to edge by their two long edges and the small opposite side at the bottom, the bag being characterized in that the bottom

La découpe comporte un grand nombre de lignes 25de repli qui sont obtenues par embossages respectivement en creux et en relief de facon à constituer des zones d'affaiblissement du matériau constitué par exemple de carton, bristol ou complexe de matière synthétique;
Les deux face~tes latérales triangulaires 21a et 21b correspondent aux facettes respectivement 14a et 14b de la découpe. Et a cet effet les deux facettes 21a et 2lb ont la configuration d'un triangle équilatéral;
has two opposite triangular facets back to back from the central area of said bottom, the two facets triangular being folded towards the interior volume of the sachet, the top of the triangle being oriented upward S outwards and joining the long corresponding edge front of the bag and each lGng edge of the bag, formed of the marginal meeting of the two sides involves in the area between said vertex of the triangle and the base of the bag of four thicknesses or layers from the cut initial laminated together and the two layers interiors laminated together are provided slightly recessed inward leaving subsis-ter a marginal zone coming from the two outer layers laughing so coming into contact with each other and laminated together beyond the terminal edge of two inner layers thus ensuring sealing and the homogeneity of the sachet.
According to a first embodiment, the bag is provided with a bottom comprising between the two opposite side triangles a rectangular facet central conforming to the flat bottom of the bag, two sides opposites of the rectangle separating the latter from the face corresponding to the bag and the other two sides opposites constituting the base of one of the two triangles side returning between the faces of the bag and the somrnet opposes said base joined the big edge corresponding.
The invention also relates to a cutting for the conformation and realization of a bag in three dimensions of the type specified and suitable for containing a dose unit of a product, the cutting being carried out in flexible and semi-rigid material such as cardboard, : laminated, complex or similar cardboard and the cut is of the general auadrangular form type, both large parallel sides being able to come into contact towards each other by folding the cut on itself from the middle zone to constitute the bottom so that the two parallel sides are thus secured laughed at by their edge and by their opposite transverse side at the bottom thereby closing the defined interior space-the bag, and the cut has lines of folds preformed by stamping including two lines parallels called bottom fold lines, defining a central area to conform to the bottom, and a inside this central area of the fallback lines conforming two opposite triangles back to back, a vertex of each triangle joining the corresponding edge, and the cut is remarkable in that it includes on its two long edges a notch between the two said parallel bottom fold lines defining the bottom of the bag, the two long edges in the area notched recessed inward and parallel at the previous edge.
The invention also relates to a device for shaping a cutout intended for making sation of a sachet, cut preferably longiform and with two parallel edges, the cut being able to be folded back on itself to define the two sides of the sachet separated by a bottom coming from the middle part of cutting, the device allowing the shaping of cutting according to a plurality of configurations in three dimensions and being of the type comprising a punch in relief for the three-dimensional conformation of the central part of the cut to conform to the bottom joining the two sides of the bag and the punch cooperating with a hollow matrix of compLémerl form keep silent, the punch and the matrix being displaceable according to a movement of approaching and spacing one towards the other by trapping between them the cut whose ~ 2 ~ 2 ~ 6?
bottom is thus shaped, the device being charac-terized in that the punch and the die are mounted at sliding inside a guide sleeve common interrupted by a transverse slit for the introduction of the cut to conform, the punch on the one hand and the matrix on the other hand, in their rest position, being arranged on either side of said slot and the punch and the die being at will able to meet first the middle part of the cut to shape the bottom by pressing this middle part inside the sleeve and thus folding the two faces towards each other a from the bottom, the fold being in the opposite direction in the direction of the penetration, the meeting of the punch male and female matrix causing conformation from the bottom and the device thus allowing at least two conformations depending on whether the faces are folded down one towards the other from the bottom either on the side of the punch or on the side of the matrix.

- Figures 19 and 20 show two 15variants of realization and implementation of the invention in the context of the shaping of sachets of different structure.
We see, by first considering the Figure 1, that we realize a blank or cut 1 shape 20 general quadrangular and oblong comprising on the two short sides 2 and 2 'a tongue or protuberance which will conform the part of the sachet to section for opening.
The cut has a large number of lines 25 folds which are obtained by embossing respectively in hollow and in relief so as to constitute zones weakening of the material consisting for example of cardboard, Bristol board or complex of synthetic material;
advantageously, a complex based on 30 waterproof cardboard on the side which will correspond to the inner wall of the bag once shaped, and in particular by a polyethylene coating ensuring the joining the edges of the bag by heat sealing.
We thus have on this shape or cut 1 35 the four lines 40a, 50d, 3c, 3d which define a 2 ~ ~? ~
located substantially in the middle of the long sides S and 5 ' cutting.
The fallback lines 40d and 50d which form two opposite sides of rectangle 4 are extended by the fallback lines 40b, 40c, 50b, 50c respectively which join marginal lines 6a and 6b and extend to edges 5 and 5 '.
Finally, from each of the angles of rectangle 4 depart the diagonal fallback lines respectively 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d who will die at the level of corresponding angles of cutout 1 by joining the marginal fold lines 6a and 6b.
We see according to Figures 2, 3, 4, 5a, 5b that the cutout of Figure 1 can, by folding, one towards the other, from the two faces 7 and 7 ', from the bottom itself even formed from the middle part of the cut, obtain a shaped sachet capable of covering the configurations on the one hand represented in perspective in the figure 2.
To mechanically ensure the conformation of the bottom and the fold of the two faces one against the other, depending on the desired confiquration, we use in the framework from inventlon a device shown diagrammatically to fi ~ ures 3, 4 and 8 and consisting of a punch in relief 15 cooperating with a hollow matrix 16.
The punch and the die are slidably mounted inside a guide assembly formed by a common sleeve 17 in which the punch and the die can come to meet each other.
The guide device or sleeve 17 is :: interrupted transversely by the slot 18 allowing - 'the introduction of the cutout 1 intended to be put in formed by the game of displacement respectively of the punch and die.

central rectangle 4 located at equidis ~ ance respectively large ribs 5, 5 'and small dimensions 2 and 2' of the cutting 1.
Optionally and according to a variant, the 5 rectangle 4 can be reduced to a narrow strip two sides 3a and 3c being very close, the rectangle 4 can be reduced to a single 3rd line, both lines fallback 3a and 3c then being combined, which results to the embodiment shown in Figure l9 deriving directly from the same design.
Parallel to the long sides 5 and 5 ', run the fallback lines 6a and 6b which define the marginal zones 5a and 5b used during production from the sachet to the gluing (in particular to the fusing) of edges 5 and 5 'during the final shaping of the bag by folding the two halves 7 and 7 'respectively located on each side of the bottom.
The background is defined by the median zone delimited ted by the two parallel fallback lines or line of bottom respectively 40 and 50 formed by segments 40a and 50d collinear with their extension 40b, 40c and 50b, 50c, thereby defining the two parallel lines ~ 0, 50 between which folding facets will conform the background as described below.
The background facets are defined by side folds 8a and 8b which are convergent towards the 5 'edge, joining at the line of marginal fold 6b to blend into the fold line unique 9 Symmetrically and on the opposite side of the central rectangle 4, we find the fold lines lOa and Ob converging towards edge 5, these two lines of fallback joining to conform the fallback line 11, symmetric of line 9; the two lines 9 and 11 being .
2 ~?
We can thus perform mechanically the setting in the form of a sachet before filling, cutting 1 being fed from a lateral ma ~ asin, containing a reserve of cuts.
The punch is shown in more detail and in perspective in Figure 4. We see that it has three facets, i.e. a quadrangular central facet 20 which corresponds in shape and dimension to the facet central quadrangula.ire 4 of the cut, and could therefore be brought back to a simple edge (figure 19).
The two face ~ your triangular side 21a and 21b correspond to the facets respectively 14a and 14b of the cutout. And for this purpose the two facets 21a and 2lb have the configuration of an equilateral triangle;
they are arranged in symmetrical planes located each substantially 45 to the transverse plane sal of facet 20 itself perpendicular by relation to the movement of movement of the symbolized punch by arrow F1.
The matrix 16 has a hollow imprint which is substantially complementary of the relief imprint formed by the head of the punch 15.
We find in this hollow imprint of the matrix 16 a central face constituted by the face transverse 22 of the piston head 23 mounted a sliding inside the matrix 16 and recalled in the projecting position by the return spring 24.
On each side of the quadrangular face central of the matrix 22 are the facets 25a, 25b each formed by an equilateral triangle and arranged substantially at 45 relative to the plane of the main transverse facet 22.
It is thus seen that the punch 15 can come to the contact of the receiving matrix 16, the two fingerprints being of relief and of complementary dimensions coming marry each other, the face 20 of the punch coming from push back the face 22 of the plunger 23, the facets 21a and 21b then coming to press against the facets 25a and 25b of the matrix.
We see that in this movement, the cut 1 can therefore be shaped by being trapped between two complementary elements, namely the punch of a part and the receiving matrix on the other.
According to a development of the invention which is shown in particular in Figure la and lb, the edges 5, 5 'corresponding to the two large edges of the cutouts are provided with notches 30, 30 'in the middle part of said large edges which corresponds to the conformation of the bottom and which is defined by the two parallel lines known as bottom fallback lines respectively ti ~ ement 3a and 3b and their extension to the edge respectively 40b, 40c on one side and 50b, 50c on the other.
This notch 30 is defined between the two picks up ~ ents 30a, 30b on the edge 5 'and its bottom 30c short parallel to the 5 'edge and slightly recessed relative to this edge.
Preferably, the edge 30c defining the bottom of the notch is located substantially in the middle of the area margin 5a, 5c which separates the 5 'edge of the line of marginal fold 6b, so that the distance l (figure lb) which separates the edge 30c forming the bottom of the notch of the marginal fallback line 13b is substantially the half the width L which separates the edge 5 of the line marginal withdrawal in the notched part of said large edges.
The interest of this notch is, as we will see below, to ensure watertightness and homogeneity in the structure of the sachet after conformation.
We have shown in Figures 1b, similarly that in FIGS. 6a and 6b the marginal parts 5a, 5b edges 5 with a dotted line to show the zones in which the edges are glued to conform sation of the sachet.
It has in fact been planned for the sachet to include less on its facing faces in view of their heat sealing a coating, in particular of polyethylene likely to ensure not only the expiry of the bag but also the heat sealing of the edges during of the conformation of the sachet.
And this heat sealing, obtained by pressing two edges of the two faces 7 and 7 'against each other by heating jaws ensures the soli-darisation of the whole.
The notches 30 arranged on each category of the large edges of the cut will ensure a effective joining of these edges 5, 5 '.
We see indeed in particular in the light of Figures 6a, 6b and 7 only when the two edges 5a and 5c come together to come into contact, accompanied by the formation of an internal bellows by relbveme, nt.
triangle 14b, the marginal parts 31a and 31b quL
belong to the middle part of the bottom being folded, are inserted between the borders to be glued 5a, 5c.
In the absence of notches, the face opposite heat sealable 31a will ad ~ er to the strip 5a, while that the face of the strip 31b will adhere to the strip 5c.
If we want to get the inner faces in contact bands 3la and 3lb are also thermosealed it is then necessary to deposit a layer of polyethylene not only on the face of the 13 2 ~ 7 ~ - ~, 6 ~
cutout which will conform the inside of the sachet, but also on the face which constitutes the exterior, hence a technological handicap requiring an operation or the choi.x of a more expensive complex and possibly problems with the decoration of the bag.
In the absence of this heat-weldable coating on the side which constitutes the back of the cutout, we see that necessarily between the fallback line 9 and the base of the bag the two sides 5a and 5b will yawn thus initiating a prejudicial separation line ciable to the seal and mechanical strength of the bag.
As part of the implementation of the invention, the notch 30 allows to remain, after folding of the two strips 31a and 31b one against lS the other, a marginal part projecting from zones 5a and 5c which can thus come into contact with one another and be therrno-sealed thereby ensuring the finish, tightness and perfect mechanical strength of the base of the sachet.
We see in particular in Figure 7 the part protruding from the lateral bands 5a and 5c which come join beyond the terminal edge of the strips interior 3la, 3lb.
And Figure 6b shows that this same arrangement tion is found on both sides of the bag ensuring so on both sides and symmetrically a closure perfect on both sides against each other especially at their longitudinal edges.
What ensures besides the tightness and the behavior mechanical of the bag, a satisfactory appearance and aesthetic avoiding the sight of yawning presented by the two edges not joined.
Figure 9 and Figure 10 show a development of the invention that the lines of preformed folds 3a and 3b respectively which define , 14 2 ~
the sides of the rectangle forming the bottom joining the corresponding faces 7 and 7 ', receive during the conformation of the sachet additional stamping conforming a fold back on itself of the cutout.
For this purpose and according to Figures 4 and 9, we sees that two parallel edges and arranged on the punch 15 have a raised rib 33, cooperating with the hollow groove 34 coming from the matrix 16.
The cutout 1 is thus stamped between the male rib 33 and female groove 34 to conform an open tubular structure forming a stiffener 35 and ensuring the clear breaking of the bottom and the stability of the separation edge between the rectangular bottom 4 and the corresponding face 7. The stiffener 35 consists from shoulder 35c downwards followed by the two angles re-entrant 35d and 35b then joining face 7.
Figures 11, 12, 13 and 14 show a variant of realization derived from the form of realization tion and in which the central rectangle 4 is replaced by an inward withdrawal of the sachet obtained by appropriate conformation of the fallback lines 40, 50 having in their center a fallback line angular 40d, 50d.
These angular fold lines extending the fallback lines respectively 10a, 10b on the one hand, 8a, 8b on the other hand to conform a diamond together.
We find in this conformation the two lateral triangles 14a, 14b; the intermediate zone of background located between the two triangles is itself formed of two trapezoidal facets 36a, 36b, both trapezoids being opposed by their large base 37 which conforms to the hollow edge defining the bottom of the recess towards the interior of the central area.
15 ~? ~ ~
We see according to Figures 13 and 14 that the punches and dies are appropriately shaped by creating from the cutout in Figure 15 the conformation conditions leading to the representation tion in relief in Figure 11.
We thus obtain a sachet of a conformation pleasing to the eye and whose hollowed out base provides renewed aesthetic effect.
We mainly obtain a sachet with a improved stability as the bag rests on the two support lines 3b, 3d supplemented by the triangular bottom joining the two opposite edges 5, 5 '. The stability of the sachet on a resting plane is improved to the extent that it can adapt to a plan with unevenness in relief which will be absorbed in the hollow ~ ~ constituting the hollowed out bottom.
A variant of the bag of Figures 11, 12 and shown in Figures 16 and 17 being obtained from from the cutout in Figure 18.
The realization is substantially close to the configuration of Figures 11 and 12, the angular offset bottom lines 40d, 50d being here replaced by curved lines respectively 40th, 50th.
Finally, FIG. 19 shows a variant in which the rectangle central is replaced by a single 3rd line, both sides coming to merge and the two lateral triangles being opposed by the common transverse edge.
In FIG. 20, a variant takes up the configuration of Figures 2 and following in which the central rectangle 41 constituting the bottom is offset towards the inside of the sachet by a fold over on itself of the base constituting the base of the faces 7 and 7 'which, from made this fold at the base of the inner part of the bottom, conforms a stiffening rib which constitutes 1 ~
a continuous belt around the circumference of the base of the sachetj the latter resting on this folded belt on itself, the bottom being thus carried over from all contact with the support plane.
In all the cases that have been represented here, the conformation of the sachet is obtained under conditions identical tions from a conformation set as shown in Figure 8; both sides 7 and 7 ' of the cut are brought towards each other by the slot 38 game whose edges 38a and 38b play the role of cam; the punch 15 is pushed down to the inside of the sleeve 17 brings back the two faces 7 and 7 ' cutting one against the other.
According to one embodiment, the quality of the adhesion between the two edges with marginal strips 5a and 5c on the one hand, 5b and 5d on the other hand, can be adjusted to allow sufficient strength for the conservation of the contained product, adhesion does not resistant, however, to traction exerted on two faces 7 and 7 'from the upper tabs 2a, 2b, which allows easy separation of the two faces to obtain a peelable sachet thus releasing the product request content.
We see that the invention will be applicable to many embodiments.
The invention makes it possible in particular to produce sachets intended to contain unit doses of liquid, pasty, powdery products.
It will be particularly usable to contain samples distributed free of charge for advertising purposes silences or quantities corresponding to one use single or a plurality of successive uses sives; the configuration of the bag, both sides bulging 7 and 7 'being brought together automatically at the top, thus closing the ''. The overflow tabs could advantageously be replaced by a device shutter distributor (plug or spout) of known type.
Thus, in the context of the invention a real bottle likely to contain products in common use such as cleaning products, detergents, detergents, shampoos, creams, cosmetics or technical products such as adhesives, lubricants, manufacturing aids, and this in a particularly economical and advantageous packaging geux in its mode of use; the pressure exerted lS on the lateral facets 7 and 7 'allows to provoke the exactly dosed outlet of the product through its orifice distribution; the latter closing as before exposed after the end of the pressure exerted on the faces side 7 and 7 '.
The bottle can be made of such material that the laminated cardboard on one inner side only thus ensuring its biodegradability and avoiding pollute the environment for many years when it was used.
We have along the description used the expression bag to designate the object produced according to the invention or incidentally and as above the word bottle.
It should be understood that the word sachet does not limit the scope of the invention and it can be used for any container regardless of the product contained, the material constituting the walls of the container, of the wall or contour. Especially the upper part ie the shoulders and the tabs can have evocative configurations for example in the form of a stopper or bottle neck corresponding to more conventional containers and this for "~
enhance and enhance the presentation of the product.
The product contained can advantageously be produced, sold for its market value and not just a sample or product intended for single use; the bag may indeed contain a reservation corresponding to users successive tions.
In the case of food products, in particular pulverulent slow, the product may incorporate additives in the form of "controls", for example additives in the form of plants dehydrated (spices, aromatic plants etc ...).
Finally the sachet can be presented in the form of two twin bags with a common opening tab, thus allowing the extemporaneous mixing of two suitable products to separate storage.
