Abstract

Pouch of the type obtained from a single long, flat blank (1) with two long parallel edges (5, 5'), the said blank being folded onto itself to form the two sides (7, 7') of the pouch which are connected to each other via a transverse bottom formed by the median portion of the blank, the two sides of the pouch being attached together edge-to-edge along their two long edges and the short edge (2) opposite the bottom, the pouch being characterized by the fact that the bottom has two triangular facets that are folded towards the inside volume of the pouch, the peak of the triangle (14c, 14d) pointing outward and reaching the corresponding long edge (5, 5') of the pouch; each long edge of the pouch, formed from the marginal combination of the two sides (7, 7.) comprises in the area between the said peak of the triangle and the base of the pouch four thicknesses or layers (5a, 31a, 31b, 5c) from the initial blank that are laminated together; the two interior layers (31a, 31b) that are laminated together are offset slightly towards the interior, thus leaving a marginal area where the two outer layers (5a, 5c) come into contact with each other and are laminated together beyond the terminal edge of the two interior layers (31a, 31b), thus ensuring the tightness and homogeneity of the pouch.
