Abstract

Un interféromètre antirésonnant Sagnac à fibre tout optique (2) est formé à partir d'une fibre optique possédant un indice de réfraction non linéaire. Le coupleur (8) est un coupleur dichroïque couplant des parties égales d'un signal optique à onde entretenue de 1,53 µm d'un laser (16) aux ports (14 et 16) et la totalité d'un signal optique pulsé d'un laser (20) au port (14). L'intensité du signal optique pulsé est suffisante pour donner un déphasage relatif des signaux de rétropropagation de 1,53 µm. La boucle (6) est plus longue que l'inverse de la différence absolue des temps de propagation de groupe du signal optique à onde entretenue et du signal optique pulsé, causant ainsi la commutation d'une impulsion optique carrée de 1,53 µm au port (12) du coupleur.
