Description
28/~1 ~ 92 16 55 ~77415a02 CABINET CIIARRAS ~ MARK & CLERK 1~04 3 ~ 9 Cxoss-current swimming and ~iltering device namely for swimming pools.
More particularly~ the ~evice relate3 to a cempact ~loc~ with one part i~merse~ in the water, taking the filte~lng meana and one p~rt outside of ~he ~wimming pool t~ t~ke ~he di~ferent ele~t~ al component~ and pumping means. This block can, for examp~e, be the of the type described in the patent FR
831824~, the applicant ~f which is also the holder.
It ha.~ ~een plan~ed to equip these compact blocks with a system likely to ~re~te cross-o~rrent swimminy, aim~d at delivering the water into the ~wimming pool with a ~el~tlvely high rate o~ flow~ These systems are al~o and advantageously ~ed in hydrotherapy.
In order to obtain this re~ult of fo~ced w~ter circulation, a pump with a h~ ~h r~te of flow of 4~ to 50 m3/hou~ can be used.
Howeve~, thi~ sol~tion i~ unsatis~actory sin~e it calls ~or an expenslve pump. ~esides, the so-callecl cros~-current s~i~ning operation, i~, in this ca~e, continuous and constant, which ls not necessaxy when only the reger.eration of the swimmln~ pool wa~e~ is required.
In order to over~o~e the~ disadvantages, it was planne~ to equip the block with a second, parallel-mounted pump, the delive~y pipe of which is connected to the wat~r circ~lat~on ~ump pipe. Thi~ st~te o~ ~he art can be illustr~t~d by the teachln~ o~ the patent FR ~Sl7201.
It there~ore appears n~es~ary to have two pumps whiah results in substantial cost and volu~e ~s called ~or ~y a relatively complex unit. Figure 1 shows an e~o~i~ent o~ a comp~ct block ,. ~ ~.' , 28/01 ' ~2 1~ 5B ~7'~1$~02 CABINET CI-IARRA5 ~ MARK & CLERK 1~0135 fitted with two pu~np~ and the correspon~ing ~ni~ neces~ary to obtain ~he two operatlons corresponding to a no~mal circulation of water and a forced circul~t:lon ore water for cro~s-current swimming.
The ~nventlon i ~imed a~ overcomin~ these di~advantageY in a particularly simple and ef~icient manner.
The p~oblem the lnvention intends to solve is ~o simplify the design lnside ~he cornpact block a5 much ~s possible gi~ing highly ~lexi~le operation so as ~o ob~ain, at will, either the circul~tion and renewal o th~ water, in a conventional rnanne and at a low rate of ~low, or a higher rate of ~lo~ ~or c:ro~-current ~w~ m~ning .
T~is problern i~ overcome by a cross-currerl'c swi.mming and filte~ing de~ice namely for swim~ing pools, m~unted in a compact block with one part immersed ln ~he water and on~ part outside of the swim~ing pool, the part ~mmer~ed in the w~ter t~king filterin~ Inean~, the par~ o~lt~ide of the water bein~

Another pro~le~ the in~ention ~n~ends ~o solve is to ~lw~ys ~irculate the w~ter through ~iltering means, regardle~s o~ the operating cycle sel~cted, with o~ withou~ Gro~-current swimmin~
This typ~ of prohl~m .is overcolne in that the pump i~

The device ha~ a particularly adv~nta~eous a,ppllcation in the event where the ~iltPring means ~re made ~rom a textile ~rticle made ~p o~ at least one laye o~ non-woven material with flltering capacities, the said article i~ designed to tnake up a pocket or ~leeve, open at one end and clo~ed at the othex, this article being mount~d inside an open ~upport in communica~ion with ~he liquid and linked to the suction ~n~
delivery system of the pump.
The in~ention is now descri~ed in detail with the help o~ the ~t~ched drawing~, in wh.ich :
