Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the cap for a container as shown in the drawings; the cap for a container presents a funnel-like shaped configuration with a slightly tapered upper first section which merges smoothly into an axially aligned second section having a frusto-conical shape which in turn merges through a rounded shoulder area into an aligned and slightly tapered third section which merges through a second rounded shoulder area into an outwardly flared and an outwardly curved section which merges into a lower generally cylindrical section which presents a series of spaced-apart raised generally identical rib-like elements extending along the surface thereof and a generally rectangular window-like opening therein with beveled sides and rounded corners; the lower section has a bottom slightly raised area which presents a circumferentially extending tab-like element thereon with an enlarged end and spaced-apart ridge-like areas on the outer surface thereof.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design of a cap for a container,Fig. 2 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 4 is a rear elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a bottom view thereof; andFig. 6 is a top plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
