Abstract
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
Construction kit for the erection of buildings, com-prising at least two lightweight units and at least one connect-ing unit; the lightweight unit being made of a rectangular one-leaf board which has a lateral rabbet all way round to enable the connection of two lightweight units by means of a connecting unit, which by preference is made of wood.

Description
z~
The present invention relates to a construction kit for the erection of buildings. Modern building units are required to have sound-absorbing and heat-insulating properties and should be made by dry processO A building unit should be difficultly inflammable or even non-combusting and should have water-repel-lent properties at the same time. Stakility should be ensured at a low dead weight, with a low amount of water-loss shrinkage and/or expansion properties to avoid the formation of cracks.
suilding units should be easy to assemble and simple to cut to the required overall length. Once assembled, the surfaces should allow additional coating with plaster and tiles, for example.
All stated requirements are not met or only in part met by the known building unit.
Therefore, the present invention provides a construc-tion kit which combines these requirements and properties.
~ ccording to one aspect of the invention, there is pro-vided a construction kit for the erection of buildings comprising at le~ast two lightweight units and one connecting unit. The lightweight units are made of a rectangular, one-leaf board which has a lateral rabbet all around to enable the connection of two lightweight units by means of a connecting unit. In a preferred embodiment of the invention a wooden profile is inserted as con-nection unit.
In case of non-load bearing walls, it is possible to omit the connecting unlt or to fill the gap formed by the rabbets with a connecting material.
Thus, in another aspect of the present inventlon there is provided a constructlon kit for the erection of non-load bear-ing walls comprislng at least two lightweigh-t units and a con-nectlng materials, the lightweight unit being made of a rectangu-lar one-leaf board which has a lateral rabbet all wa~ round to enable the connection of two lightweight units by means of the ...0 .. ~
.
g~9 zonnecting material.
Since the building unit is made o~ a one-leaf board and is only profiled laterally, it is easy to shape and can espe-cially be cut to the required overall length by means of a simplesaw.
Due to the building material used, the units have sound-absorbing and heat-insulating properties, khey are water-repellent and comply with the ~lre prevention and fire proofingregulations.
With a minimum dead weight, stability and little volume expansion are assured.
After assembly, additional coatings, such as plaster, tiles, etc. can be applied to the surface of the lightweight units.
The invention will be further illustrated in greater detail by way of the accompanying drawings, in which:-Figures 1 through 9, represent particularly preferred embodiments.
Figures 1 through 3 show the use of the construction kits as external wall. The lightweight units 1 are ~oined in such that the circumferential rabbets form a gap into which the connecting unit 2, i.n thls case a wooden support, is inserted.
The connection to the iloor and to the ceiling is achieved by means of wooden profiles 3 and ~ and a ste~l angle 5.
An especially preferr0d ~urther embodiment o~ the invention is shown in Figure ~. Here the lightweight units 1 are arranged rotated with respect to each other. The connectlon unit ~ 2~9 la, e.g. a wooden support, or in case of non-load bearing walls a connecting material (e.g. gypsum) is inserted and/or filled into the gap formed by the rabbe-ts of the lightweight units l.
Figure 5 shows a ~urther embodiment of the connection between the construction kit and the floor or the ceiling by means of mounting screws 7 and 8.
Figure 6 shows the llghtweight unit 1 with its ci.rcum-ferential rabbet 9 and lO.
Figures 7 and 9 show an especially preferred embodiment of the invention, in whlch the construction kit is used as ceil-ing.
In this case, the lightweight unit 1 is placed onto the ~oists 11 serving as connecting unit, or as shown in Figure 8, below the ~oists 11.
Figure 9 shows a further assembly example with the lightweight unit serving as ceiling panel, as is the case in Fig-ures 7 and 8.
