Abstract
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
This tractor winch is characterized by its readily connection to the three-point hitch system and power take-off of a farm tractor and by its simple construction and operation. This tractor winch includes a cable drum driven by the power take-off through a planet gear system with a control brake acting on the ring gear to control the rotation of the cable drum and safety brake to hold the drum against rotation.
