Abstract

PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION:
Corps sphéroïdal en matière organique macromoléculaire carbonisable à l'état solide en conservant sa forme originale.
Ce corps est caractérisé par le fait que son diamètre moyen est de quelques dixièmes de millimètres à quelques centimètres, qu'il est constitué par une pluralité de cellules fermées et que l'ensemble des cellules périphériques forme une paroi de 50 à 500 microns délimitant sa surface extérieure. Il peut être utilisé, soit en tant que tel, notamment, sous forme d'un lit de granules, comme agent d'isolation pour éviter la mise en contact de la surface de bains de produits chimiques avec l'atmosphère, soit pour la fabrication de matériaux composites.
