Abstract

PRé-AQUECEDOR DE MEIOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um aquecedor para pré-aquecimento de meios em um dispositivo de formação de imagem compreende um suporte polimérico substancialmente plano, tendo uma superfície exterior. Um canal é rebaixado na superfície exterior do suporte. Um elemento de aquecimento a resistência é disposto no canal, o elemento de aquecimento a resistência tendo uma primeira e uma segunda extremidades para acoplamento a uma fonte de energia. O aquecedor inclui uma camada polimérica sobre-moldada disposta no canal de modo que o elemento de aquecimento a resistência fica substancialmente encapsulado no canal e de modo que uma superfície exterior da camada sobre-moldada fica substancialmente em nível com a superfície exterior do suporte.
