Abstract

aparelho e método para controlar a composição gasosa produzida durante a gaseificação de alimentações contendo carbono. método para controlar a composição de saí da de um dispositivo de gaseificação para uso na gaseificação de biomassa utilizando um gaseificador em que a biomassa e o gás, ambos fluem numa direção descendente. o método combina o uso de vapor e oxigênio como um fluxo de oxidação misto para controlar os processos que ocorrem dentro do gaseificador. os oxidantes são introduzidos no gaseificador utilizando numerosos anéis de injeção. cada anel de injeção compreende numerosos bocais injetores (28, 29) cada um radialmente distribuído na mesma altura vertical e possivelmente conectados a mesma fonte de suprimento. particularmente, resultados satisfatóúos podem ser alcançados pelo uso de três anéis de injeção, um no topo do gaseificador, um na interface da zona de oxidação e redução e um a uma pequena distância abaixo da montagem da grade (25). o gás de síntese produzido também contém concentrações extremamente baixas de alcatrão e hidrocarbonetos de baixo peso molecular.
