Abstract

SELEçãO DE UM PARAMêTRO DE LIMITE PARA ESTIMAçãO DE CANAL. São descritas técnicas para derivar uma estimativa de canal de alta qualidade. Uma primeira estimativa de resposta ao impulso de canal (CIRE) com múltiplas derivações de canal é derivada, por exemplo, pela filtragem de CIREs iniciais obtidas de um piloto recebido. Um valor de parâmetro de limite é selecionado com base em pelo menos um critério, que pode referir-se ao perfil do canal, à SNR operacional, ao número de derivações de canal e assim por diante. Uma segunda CIRE é derivada zerando-se as derivações de canal selecionadas das derivações de canal na primeira CIRE com base no valor de parâmetro de limite. A energia média das derivações de canal pode ser determinada, um limite pode ser derivado com base na energia média e no valor de parâmetro de limite, e as derivações de canal com energia menor que o limite podem ser zeradas. Uma memória pode armazenar valores de parâmetro de limite para diferentes cenários operacionais, e um valor armazenado pode ser selecionado para uso com base no cenário operacional atual.
