Abstract
"MéTODO PARA TRANSPORTAR UM ELEMENTO ALONGADO NA áGUA". A presente invenção fornece um método para transportar um elemento alongado (10) através da água (20). O elemento alongado (10) tem uma primeira parte (52) e uma segunda parte (72). O método compreende as etapas de: ajustar a flutuabilidade do elemento alongado (10) para garantir que o elemento alongado (10) bóie; prover pelo menos um peso (40, 60) que age em cada parte de extremidade do elemento alongado (10); e transportar o elemento alongado (10) na água (20) em uma configuração catenária invertida. O elemento alongado (10) pode ser transportado abaixo da zona afetada pelas ondas. O peso, ou cada peso (40, 60), que age em cada parte de extremidade (52, 72) do elemento alongado (10) pode ser conectado de forma desanexável nela. O elemento alongado (10) pode ser transportado por reboque.
