Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA VIRTUALIZAçãO DE ENDEREçOS FìSICOS DE CONVIDADO EM AMBIENTE DE MáQUINA VIRTUAL". Um método para partilhar páginas entre máquinas virtuais em um ambiente de várias máquinas virtuais inclui inicialmente alocar uma faixa de endereços físicos de convidado temporária de uma primeira máquina virtual para partilhar as páginas com uma segunda máquina virtual. A faixa temporária está dentro de um espaço de endereço físico de convidado da primeira máquina virtual. Um pedido de acesso, como um pedido de DMA, de uma segunda máquina virtual, a páginas disponíveis para a primeira máquina virtual, é recebido. Uma contagem de referência dos pedidos pendentes às páginas é incrementada de modo a indicar um acesso pendente, e as páginas são mapeadas na faixa de endereços físicos de convidado temporária. As páginas são acessadas e a contagem de referência é decrementada. O mapeamento na faixa de endereços físicos de convidado temporária é então removido se a contagem de referência for zero.
