Abstract

METODO E SISTEMA PARA DETERMINAR SE UM OBJETO é UM OBJETO AUTêNTICO AO QUAL UMA IMAGEM CODIFICADA ESPERADA FOI APLICADA. é provido um método para determinar se um objeto é um objeto autêntico ao qual uma imagem codificada esperada foi aplicada (S170). A imagem codificada esperada tendo sido construída mediante codificação de uma imagem de autenticação usando um conjunto de um ou mais parâmetros de codificação. O método compreende receber uma imagem digital de pelo menos uma parte do objeto de teste incluindo uma área alvo onde a imagem codificada esperada seria aplicada se o objeto de teste fosse um objeto autêntico (S120) . O método compreende ainda determinar um ou mais parâmetros de codificação (S130) e aplicar um algoritmo de decodificação digital à imagem digital capturada para estabelecer um resultado de decodificação (S150). O resultado de decodificação pode ser então comparado com o critério de autenticação de objeto para estabelecer um resultado de autenticação (S160) . Em modalidades específicas da invenção, as ações de receber, determinar, aplicar e comparar são realizadas por um servidor de autenticação e a imagem digital é recebida a partir de um processador de inspeção através de uma rede.
