Abstract

APERFEIÇOAMENTOS EM OU RELATIVOS A FONTES DE ALIMENTAÇçO. A presente invenção refere-se a aperfeiçoamentos em ou relativos a fontes de alimentação, e mais especificamente, apesar de não exclusivamente, refere-se a fontes de alimentação para os medidores de serviços públicos tais como as fontes de alimentação que são comumente utilizadas nos medidores de eletricidade. De modo a operar uma fonte de baixa voltagem de uma fonte de alimentação de voltagem principal, tal como um medidor de eletricidade, a voltagem principal de corrente alternada (CA) deve primeiro ser convertida em corrente contínua (CC). E uma prática comum nas fontes de alimentação de baixo custo fazer uso de uma disposição muito simples de componentes para reduzir a alta voltagem CA para uma voltagem CC mais baixa utilizável, tais sistemas operando em um modo de retificação de meia onda para reduzir os números de componentes do circuito. Isto torna ineficiente os suprimentos de voltagem CC. A presente invenção procura resolver uma necessidade de aumentar uma quantidade de energia elétrica disponível para operar necessidades de circuito de baixa voltagem de um medidor de eletricidade sem aumentar a energia retirada da voltagem principaI. A presente invenção provê uma fonte de alimentação da qual ambos os ciclos de uma corrente alternada de entrada são empregados através da utilização de um circuito baseado em indutor.
