Abstract
SéRIE DE LENTES DE CONTATO ASFéRICAS.A presente invenção refere-se a uma série de lentes de contato asféricas, cada lente possuindo uma primeira zona ótica central em sua superfície anterior e uma segunda zona ótica central em sua superfície posterior. Ambas as zonas áticas são superfícies asféricas. A primeira zona ótica central é projetada para ter uma superfície que fornece uma energia ótica alvo e um perfil de energia ótica selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste em (a) um perfil de energia ótica substancialmente constante, (b) um perfil de energia imitando o perfil de energia ótica de uma lente esférica com uma energia ótica alvo idêntica, e (c) um perfil de energia no qual a aberração delente esférica com 6 mm de diâmetro é cerca de 0,65 a cerca de 1,8 dioptrias mais negativa do que a aberração esférica com 4 mm de diâmetro.
