Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE CODIFICAçãO ESCALáVEL, DISPOSITIVO DE DECODIFICAçãO ESCALáVEL, E MéTODO DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de codificação escalável para realizar a codificação escalável por codificação CELP de um sinal de som estéreo e aperfeiçoar a eficiência de codificação. Neste dispositivo, um somador (101) e um multiplicador (102) obtêm uma média de um primeiro sinal de canal CH1 e um segundo sinal de canal CH2 como um sinal monaural M. Um codificador CELP (103) de um sinal monaural submete o sinal monaural M à codificação CELP, lança o parâmetro codificado obtido para fora, e lança um sinal monaural sintetizado M' utilizando o parâmetro codificado para um primeiro codificador de sinal (104). Ao utilizar o sinal monaural sintetizado M' e o segundo sinal de canal CH2, o primeiro codificador de sinal de canal (104) submete o primeiro sinal de canal CH1 à codificação CELP para reduzir a soma da distorção de codificação do primeiro sinal de canal CH1 e a distorção de codificação do segundo sinal de canal CH2.
