A presente invenção refere-se a um elemento de segurança que compreende um substrato de suporte que compreende uma área transparente ou translúcida que carrega pelo menos uma marca digitalizada feita de pelo menos um conjunto de pontos que aparece como uma marca tridimensional quando visto na luz transmitida. A invenção refere-se um suporte ou documento ou artigo de segurança que compreende o dito elemento de segurança e ao método de identificação e/ou autenticação deste suporte ou documento ou artigo de segurança.
