Abstract

" MéTODO PARA PREPARAR UM CORPO DE UMA LIGA FERROSA, ARTIGO E APARELHO PARA PREPARAR UM CORPO DE UMA LIGA FERROSA". Uma fase metalúrgica pré-selecionada é formada em um corpo de uma liga ferrosa aquecendo a peça de trabalho até uma temperatura acima de uma temperatura de austenização da liga e depois disso contatando a peça de trabalho com um meio de `têmpera. Calor é alimentado à peça de trabalho durante pelo menos uma porção de tempo que ela está em contato com o meio de têmpera. O meio de têmpera e/ ou a fonte de calor são regulados tal que eles trabalhem em combinação para manter a peça de trabalho em uma temperatura de manutenção que está acima da temperatura a qual a fase martensítica se forma na liga.Após manter a liga na temperatura de manutenção por um período predeterminado de tempo, ela é ressfriada para temperatura ambiente. Em implementações particulares, o sistema opera para formar uma fase bainítica na liga.Também são divulgados sistemas para implementar o método.
