Abstract

PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE óXIDO DE PROPILENO E DE ESTIRENO Processo de fabricação de óxido de propileno e de estireno cujo processo compreende: (i) o contato do propeno com uma mistura de hidroperóxido de etilbenzeno na presença de catalisador para se obter o óxido de propileno e o 1 -feniletanol, (ii) a separação do óxido de propileno da mistura da reação obtida na etapa (i), (iii) sujeitar a mistura obtida na etapa (ii) à destilação para se obter uma corrente de topo que contém o etilbenzeno e uma corrente de fundo que contém o 1-feniletanol, (iv) sujeitar a corrente de fundo que contém o 1 -feniletanol obtido na etapa (iii) a uma outra destilação para se obter uma corrente de topo que contêm o 1 -feniletanol purificado e uma corrente de fundo que contém os subprodutos pesados, (v) o contato da corrente de topo que contém o 1 -feniletanol obtido na etapa (iv) com um catalisador de desidratação para obter estireno e água, (vi) sujeitar a mistura da reação obtida na etapa (v) à destilação para se obter uma corrente de topo que contém estireno e água e uma corrente de fundo que contém 1-feniletanol, 2-feniletanol, metilfenilcetona não convertidos e subprodutos, (vii) sujeitar a corrente de fundo que contém 1-feniletanol, 2-feniletanol, metilfenilcetona não convertidos e outros subprodutos obtidos na etapa (vi) à destilação para se obter uma corrente de topo que contém metilfenilcetona e uma corrente de fundo que contém 2-feniletanol e subprodutos pesados e (viii) reciclagem para a etapa (iv) da corrente de fundo que contém o 2-feniletanol e os subprodutos pesados obtidos na etapa (vii), em que a corrente de fundo obtida na etapa (vii) é introduzida na destilação da etapa (iv) abaixo do ponto no qual é introduzida a corrente de fundo que contém o 1 -feniletanol obtido na etapa (iii).
