Abstract

MéTODOS DE DIAGNóSTICO PARA OSTEOPOROSE. São fornecidos métodos de diagnóstico de doença óssea como osteoporose. Os métodos compreendem a detecção de mudanças na estrutura física ou química de um tecido queratinizado como correspondente de doença. Os métodos incluem a detecção de mudanças na dureza, módulo ou nível de ligação de enxofre, particularmente o nível de ligação de dissulfeto, em uma amostra de tecido queratinizado como unha, cabelo ou pele. As mudanças nessas variáveis servem como marcadores diagnósticos de doença ósseas que são associados a mudanças na elasticidade e densidade óssea.
