Abstract
EXECUçãO DE TRANSIENTE DE CONEXãO E RETOMADA DE COMUNICAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE ACESSO SEM FIO. é provida a execução de transiente de conexão e retomada de comunicação em um sistema de acesso sem fio. Executar um transiente de conexão inclui comunicar-se com uma estação base servidora por meio de um primeiro contato de comunicação e receber da estação base servidora, uma informação de transiente de conexão associado com pelo menos uma estação base alvo candidata. O método também inclui transmitir um indicador de transiente de conexão à estação base servidora indicando uma operação de transiente de conexão para uma estação base alvo selecionada e executar um procedimento de abrangência com a estação base alvo selecionada para estabelecer um segundo contato de comunicação com a estação base alvo selecionada enquanto mantendo o primeiro contato de comunicação com a estação base servidora. O método também inclui a liberação da estação base servidora em resposta a um mensagem de estado de transiente de conexão completado vinda da estação base alvo selecionada para a estação base servidora, ou a retomada da comunicação normal com a estação base servidora se o transiente de conexão falhar com a estação base alvo selecionada.
