Abstract

POLìMEROS A RASE DE CELULOSE E ACRìLICOS, E USO DOS MESMOS PARA O TRATAMENTO DE DOENçAS INFECCIOSAS. A presente invenção fornece métodos para o tratamento ou prevenção de uma infecção fúngica, bacteriana ou viral utilizando polímeros aniónicos à base de celulose ou acrílicos, pró-fármacos dos mesmos, ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável dos referidos polímeros à base de celulose ou polímeros de base acrílica ou pró-fármacos de ambos. A presente invenção também fornece composições farmacêuticas compreendendo polímeros aniónicos à base de celulose ou acrílicos, um pró-fármaco dos mesmos, ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável dos referidos polímeros aniónicos à base de celulose ou acrílicos ou pró-fármaco. A presente invenção fornece ainda terapias combinadas para o tratamento ou prevenção de infecção fúngica, bacteriana ou viral utilizando polímeros aniónicos à base de celulose ou acrílicos, pré-fármacos dos mesmos, ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável dos referidos polímeros à base de celulose ou polímeros de base acrílica ou pró-fármacos de ambos e um ou mais agentes anti-infectivos. A presente invenção também fornece polímeros aniónicos à base de celulose ou acrílicos inventivos, que podem ser utilizados nos métodos mencionados acima, composições farmacêutica, e terapias combinadas. Aqueles polímeros à base de celulose ou polímeros de base acrílica são molecularmente dispersos e em maior parte dissociados em solução aquosa em um pH variando de cerca de 3 a cerca de 14.
