Abstract

PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO QUE PERMITEM MEDIR A VISCOSIDADE DE UMA CULTURA DE MICROORGANISMO A presente invenção trata de um processo que permite medir a viscosidade de um meio de cultura de microorganismo (5), caracterizado pelo fato de comportar etapas que consistem sucessivamente em : a) mergulhar pelo menos uma partícula carregada eletricamente, magnética ou magnetizável ou revestida por pelo menos uma camada magnética ou magnetizável (3) na referida cultura (4), b)submeter a referida cultura (4) a um campo elétrico, magnético ou eletromagnético, de modo a colocar a referida partícula (3) em movimento, c) detectar o grau de liberdade de movimento da partícula na cultura (3). A presente invenção aplica-se mais particularmente a um processo e dispositivo para detectar a formação e o desenvolvimento de biofilmes em uma cultura de microorganismos.
